[Music] Foreign Excited about the proof of concept of The pocket 3 action camera from gimbal Experts feiyu for its ability to quickly Mount just about anywhere magnetically To be remotely controlled and then Having up to 4K 60 video capture I Instantly saw a great opportunity for Adding all kinds of unique b-roll Footage to my various reviews that's if The pocket 3 lived up to its hype the Good news it mostly does the unique Magnetic mounting system means you can Put the camera pretty much anywhere That's metal including the fridge Front door on a basketball hoop on a Bike or even mounted on my truck I've Even attached it to the backstop at a Softball game or to the side of my truck While driving in a vertical position The list goes on and on of potential Places you can put a camera like this And thus the kinds of footage that you Can grab with it though the pocket 3 is A tiny little camera the three axis Stabilizer allows you to get very smooth Footage just like a large gimbal this Helps when you are moving either on your Feet or a vehicle of some kind different Tracking modes allow you to customize The camera and gimbal Behavior to the Type of action you're tracking and or Are engaged in there are a variety of
Different ways to control the camera Including an Innovative remote handle Which is a separate purchase but locks Easily into place and gives you useful Controls for managing the camera along With a small screen so you can monitor The action you can use the same handle Wirelessly however and control the Movement of the camera and see it on Screen even if it is remotely mounted on The car or somewhere else you can also Control the camera via Bluetooth using The feya cam app this will also unlock Things like motion mimic where the Gimbal move wherever you point the phone Face tracking options assure that the Camera stays locked on your face and Will even follow you if you're moving Around Other accessories include an underwater Housing so that you can take the camera Into the water with you and go Snorkeling or diving down to 20 meters Of depth I had a blast swimming in a Shoal of small fish with the pocket 3 Recording the action in Mexico there's An extension bar that allows you to use The camera for vlogging or as a selfie Stick Picture quality comes courtesy of a 12 Megapixel Sony sensor that will allow up To 4K 60 recording video quality is Roughly on par with what I can get from My iPhone or 4K 60 mode
Though I would say that the pocket 3 Provides nicer color I found 4K 30 footage more crisp than The 4K 60 footage which is worth bearing In mind if you want maximum image Quality there is a four times digital Zoom but as you can see picture quality Breaks down really fast expect low light Video to look fairly blocky due to the Small sensor You can go up to four times slow motion In 1080P but it is limited to two times In 4k though in both cases if you choose Slow motion you will actually get the Slowed down footage right out of camera Which is Handy Storage comes via a Micro SD slot you'll Have to provide your own card but it Will support up to 512 gigabytes of Storage battery life is roughly an hour And it takes about one and a half hours To recharge it via USBC My criticisms are relatively few image Quality isn't quite as high as what I Would like due to the small sensor which Is just over our one-half inch I also Would like to have seen a light on the Underwater housing to show when Recording is taking place as there isn't Any real feedback mechanism there and I Wasn't always sure whether I was Recording or not recording The phone app sometimes takes a couple Of tries to connect though the remote
Handle is very reliable the camera also Doesn't seem to have very good close Focus abilities which limit some Recording scenarios Overall however everything seems to work Quite well and I found it easy to start Grabbing interesting footage with very Little learning curve The pocket 3 is well pocketable it Weighs in at just 86 grams for the Camera and Gimbal and a total of 159 Grams if you have the wireless handle Attached it weighs less than most cell Phones in fact and can be easily slipped Into a pocket or a small area in your Camera bag that makes it very easy to Bring along The cost will depend on how many Accessories you want in your bundle but You can get the pocket 3 and the remote Handle for about 329 US dollars right Now or 220 dollars for the pocket three Alone the underwater housing costs Roughly 70 US Dollars the feiyu pocket 3 Is a very interesting action camera Because of the versatility in placing The camera and then and controlling it It gives you a lot of options for Getting unique footage and for the right Person it might be just what you've been Looking for if you want more information You can visit the links in the Description down below thanks for Watching have a great day and let the
